New Scorecard process gets high grades

December 29 2017

It’s December so anyone attending school is busy preparing for finals. As business leaders, we face finals each and every day. We either win or lose accounts or opportunities based on the manner in which we approach a given assignment.

A pillar of Modagrafics is to present professionally, which means to present yourself and our company professionally in our speech, our dress, our correspondence, and our attitude. When we present professionally, we are honoring the receiver of our message. We are telling them that they are important and we care enough to give them the best we’ve got.

Thus, when we received a scorecard from one of our customers who was going to be considering us for new business, we looked at the evaluation in this manner. We did not want to simply respond; our goals was to present in a way that would exceed the expectations of our customer.

“Our customer was impressed. Evidently, no other company had responded in the way that we did. In their words, we set a bar for a quality response,” remarked Modagrafics President/CEO Paul Pirkle. “The feedback that our customer provided us was invaluable because we knew immediately that our efforts were recognized, appreciated, and the principles of our company were demonstrated as we profess. We know that it takes more work to present professionally, and that is exactly the point.”
