Thirty installers from 12 different states including Illinois took part in Spedian Certification training classes held at Modagrafics during the week of January 29. More installers will gain their certificates when another round is held the week of March 19.

Each installer receives two full days of training, plus another day of learning about the many advantages the Rapidus app offers and how it applies to Spedian. The course was led by John Clark, Spedian’s UK based Technical Director. The participants actively participate in presentations, classroom work and step-by-step installation training. Each member is part of a group, and each team prepares, assembles, installs, and removes the Spedian frameless changeable graphic system.

The importance of safety carried over into the training. Each member was given reflective vests and they performed the installations on platform scaffolding with guardrails. This provided a secure place for materials and tools. 

Certification is earned by passing a written, 20-question exam. Installers who passed the test in January included representatives from Arizona, California, Colorado, Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Dakota, Ohio, Tennessee and Washington.
